The Department of Agriculture – Agricultural Training Institute fully endorses the proposed TESDA qualification for Agarwood Farming NC I–NC III.
This ladderized qualification will strengthen farmer competencies, promote sustainable agroforestry practices, and improve productivity and market readiness of Philippine agarwood. Implementation of this program will directly benefit smallholder farmers and contribute to rural livelihood enhancement.
